About Us

We are your travel advice column for Nashville! You have great ideas about what to do in Nashville. Use us to confirm your plans and find great things to consider pairing with your outing or put in your back pockets for audibles if it becomes time to pivot while you are out.
Our advice is based on our years of hosting our AirBnb. Since we live next door, we go out and do the things that we suggest to our guests. We are here to share our insights with you!
We invested these experiences into our Guest book for our Airbnb listing. Judging by the boxes left in our apartment that guest book gets referred to and used often.
We have years of conversations with visitors to Nashville from near and far. We often reach out to visitors in a variety of ways and we love the conversations that it generates. Where are you coming from? What have you enjoyed doing in Nashville so far? First time in Nashville or one of many visits to our town? What are the plans for the rest of your stay? We love these conversations in part because of what we learn.
Connie and I are committed stay-cationers and Nashville is constantly remaining itself with new things to do. We always add in our favorite things to consider in these conversations.
Connie, as you may have read above, began working venues several years ago to do more around town. She has worked at Nissan Stadium, Bridgestone Arena, all of the local college campuses and Ryman Entertainment group. In all of these roles, which she loves doing, she engages with the visitors she encounters and has conversations about what they have done and what else they might do.
We already are having these conversations in many ways, and want to have even more….so we created this blog.
What we are not:
We are not here to sell you something or steer you somewhere because we get sponsored to do so.

I moved to the Nashville area in 1999. I have worked and lived in the area ever since. In 2019 I purchased a property in Downtown/North Nashville that is easy walking distance to Bicentennial Park. It is a duplex, Connie and I live on one side and we use the other to host a short term rental property through AirBnb. I am an active person and love to play tennis and hike. I also love craft beer and a great bite of food. I am so glad I moved to the downtown area! Connie and I love to explore the Nashville food, entertainment, and sports scenes. We also love to make recommendations for people visiting Nashville from near or far.

I moved to Nashville in 2022 and have not looked back…After living in South Florida, my goal (dream) was to relocate to a fun WALKABLE urban area. Hello Music City!
In addition to running the AirBnB with Ray, I work special events around town…from The Grand Ole Opry to Broadway, I’ve got you covered. In my spare time, you will find me scouting out the next best thrift store or vintage shop. Or, I’m out with Ray searching for good food, great drinks and fun things to recommend to our guest and now to YOU. Welcome to Tuned Into Nashville! Happy to have Y’all…. i
